Bibi Lewis has been with the agency since 2014, beginning as royalties and subsidiary rights manager. She works with all level of authors, from debuts to NYT best-sellers. Her clients have been awarded the Lambda Literary prize, been chosen as BOTM selections and GMA Book Club picks.
Bibi specializes in Romance and Commercial fiction, as well as select Childrens and Young Adult authors. In Romance she enjoys contemporary, historical, Romantasy and speculative rom-coms. She is not the right agent for Romantic Suspense or Dark Romance.
She also represents Fantasy and Romantasy, with an eye towards strong, innovative worldbuilding, sharp characterization and commercial, compelling prose. She represents both traditionally published authors and indie authors who are exploring hybrid careers and subrights management.
For commercial and book club fiction, she would love stories that center complicated, fully realized characters and are propulsive and plot driven. She enjoys book club fiction with thriller or mystery elements, as well as speculative takes on contemporary issues.
In Childrens and YA she is interested in innovative Non Fiction, commercial fiction such as YA Mysteries and Romance and Middle Grade Adventure. She enjoys books that center friendship and found family. She really enjoys YA speculative fiction and books that blend genres in a commercial, accessible way. She has a soft spot for sleuths and locked room mysteries.
She is not the right fit for literary fiction, Adult Non Fiction or memoir.
