Selene Castrovilla is the author of many award winning Non-Fiction picture books, including Seeking Freedom (Calkins Creek 2022) which was a Virginia Readers Choice Award winner and an NYPL Best Book of 2022. Her latest book, This is Tap: Savion Glover Finds his Funk (Holiday House 2024) was a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection and has just been named a Bank Street Book of the year.
